I was going through a particularly bad time when I met Lisa and I had to look for a room to rent and somebody must have been looking after me that day when I saw Lisa's advert in the local newspaper.  I called her and arranged to go and meet her that evening to look at the room.  I pulled up outside her flat in Ruislip and the next thing I see is Lisa bounding down the stairs of her block coming to meet me.  What a welcome that was given how nervous I was about seeing the room that day.  Such a huge smile, gorgeous long curly hair and an enormous welcome, she immediately put me at ease and of course I moved in the next day and from that day on I met a life-long friend. My last memory of Lisa (and unfortunately the last time we met in person ) was in New York, I was on holiday with my partner and Lisa was working there so we arranged to meet up for the evening at the hotel she was staying in, we drank Apple Martini's and Cosmopolitans all night so you can image we had lots of laughs and a great catch up resulting in us leaving at 2am.  She told me that Karim had won a fight earlier and had given her the winnings, she'd gone out to buy a diamond and get a necklace made whilst in NY, such a Lisa thing to do 🙂. She was a very good friend to me, a huge support and such a lovely, vibrant lady who had a big zest for life - such an incredible shame that she has been taken so early. - Kerry Davis
